About Shaun
I am a post-doctoral researcher in the field of cancer sciences looking to undertake some additional freelancing projects. I am educated to PhD level and have experience in writing, editing and proofreading a range of academic styles. This includes journal articles, grant funding applications presentations and poster materials. I also have experience in light bioinformatics data analyses and data science, and so I can offer support with some projects of this nature.
I am looking to work on proofreading and copyediting projects across diverse areas of life sciences. I take a close eye to detail in any writing projects and aim to deliver these within short timeframes. I can also offer more thorough editing to content and writing style for scientific projects, based on clients' needs. A couple of examples of published journal articles, for which I am a first author, are given below.
