In this role as MD/Incumbent CEO I was liable for the overall performance of the Homes/Services owned by the organisation in their day-to-day operations. Serve as a member of the board and prepare board packs as well as monthly board reports. Collaborate closely with the heads of Finance, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to ensure that all homes/services run efficiently. Establish solid business plans and strategies for future mergers and acquisitions in order to facilitate growth. Act as a driving force for the renaming of the organisation and subsequent relaunch.

● Collaborated with the board to establish and lead on both short-term and long-term goals.

● Responsible Individual with CIW, submitting Reg 73 and Reg 80 reports. Nominated Individual with CQC.

● Drive and maintain compliance and occupancy via well-thought-out programs of action.

Served as a point of contact for the homes/services with regard to CQC and the local authorities. Maintained a consistent physical presence across the region in order to provide support for the staff team. Supervised the hiring of new employees to replace any vacant roles to reduce use of agency staff and the creation of innovative new services for the region. Supervised monthly preparation of reports for management review meetings.

● Provided the team with guidance, mentoring, supervision, and support.

● Fostered and encouraged the development of constructive cultures within the staff teams.

● Coordinated closely with Quality and Human Resources, on all matters pertaining to staffing.

● Devised a strategy implemented at each home/service and operated closely with the managers and the other members of the team to execute the plan.
