Sion Gwynn

I am a young professional with over 9 years of accumulated industry experience varying from product design and development through to product manufacture, production and assembly.

I started my career at Rolls Royce Aerospace where I worked as a for 3 years I worked as a Mechanical Designer for 3 years. My most notable work was on the Trent 1000 which is now flying on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Following that I was hired by Commencal Bikes and worked in the bike industry for another 3 years. I managed the production and manufacture of over 15,000 bikes globably and spent the majority of time working with factories in Taiwan. For the last 4 years I worked for a small design concultacy as a Product Desgin Engineer before progressing to a Design Development Lead. During my time there I used my broad knowledge base to tackle unique and difficult problems related to product design with focus on hands on building and fabricating my designs. Here I specialized in knowledge of 3D additive manufacture as well as designing for subtractive manufacturing methods.

I have a calm and organized approach to work and take communication very seriously.

I am currently working as a Mechanical Product Design and Development specialist.
