I have gained extensive customer service and communication skills from responsibilities such as taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers. I am also relied on to clear and clean tables, stock up snacks and drinks and clean cafe equipment such as coffee machines and blenders.

I assisted with a number of school workshops around the north of England involving an individual 'inventing' task as well as some prototyping with the classes we visited, which varied from year 4 to year 6. This was great experience working with children of different ages and abilities, helping them to understand the power of 'invention' and to encourage the children to think of howthey can use invention and prototyping to help solve problems that they havefound in theworld. I am also part of a team of Invention Moderators at Little Inventors who look through inventions sent to us by children worldwide. We give encouraging and personal feedbackto each child based on their invention and our feedback aims to encourage children to keep 'inventing' in the future and believe in their creative abilities!
