Quartered alert traffic across thousands of Ubuntu nodes running dozens of ad-tech micro-services on AWS & GCP— achieved within a three-person SRE team. Front-line on-call responder for P1/P2 incidents; by day, cleared lower-severity issues and fine-tuned alert rules to prevent noise from creeping back. Contributed to the upkeep of a large IaC estate (Puppet + Terraform) with the platform team, and kept Helm manifests & external dependencies current for safe, repeatable releases. Refined Zabbix rules and Opsgenie escalation policies, slashing false positives and surfacing only actionable alerts to engineers.

Co-built the company's first structured QA practice—defined test strategy, selected tooling, and set coverage standards for a high-volume messaging platform. Wrote specs, prioritised backlog, and demoed every release to stakeholders, ensuring new features met customer and compliance requirements before any code shipped. Maintained comprehensive regression and exploratory test suites, achieving the best possible coverage for owned components and catching critical defects before production. Sole incident manager for the product: triaged and resolved all production incidents end-to-end, delivered blameless post mortems, and laid the groundwork for a future SRE function.

Designed two flagship hardware systems end-to-end—from blank sheet concept through 3-D CAD and FEA validation to production ready drawings, coordinating with electronics and compliance teams.
