• Developing and implementing AI policies and governance frameworks, aligned with OECD and UK regulatory principles, to ensure responsible AI deployment

• Acting as a senior leader and point of escalation for delivery management within the portfolio

• Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that the correct resource profiles (skillsets and levels) are available to support the portfolio pipeline

• Leading, enabling and empowering scaled Agile teams to deliver at pace, while ensuring strong and effective collaboration and communication

• Collaboration on the strategic delivery roadmap, aligned with business strategy, priorities and outcomes and leading the development and maintenance of a prioritised backlog and service blueprints, through working with Senior Product Manager and business partners.

• Ensuring that effective software methodology is in place, follows the agreed SDLC and is aligned to agile/lean principles

• Coaching and mentoring of Agile teams to build and develop high-performing teams

• Fostering a DevOps, continuous improvement and continuous learning culture

• Directing the delivery and evolution of big data enterprise and customer-facing cloud transformation solutions for clients including BP and the Crown Estate amongst others (e.g. GIS products for Marine data exchange resource planning, B2C solutions)

• Leading multiple distributed (onshore offshore and hybrid) project teams including Business Process Analysts, Data Analysts, Front / Back End Developers, Solution Architects, Data Architects, Data Engineers, Automation Testers and DevOps Engineers through the full SDLC.

• Coordinating all aspects of programme workstreams using Agile methodologies to optimise team efficiency / motivation and achieve delivery within time and budgetary constraints.

• Ensuring appropriate planning, resourcing / reporting structures and governance is in place across workstreams.

• Proactively building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders to support and deliver defined roadmaps.

• Chairing regular meetings to prioritise workloads, resolve any issues / bottlenecks and ensure management in line with Agile project management frameworks and best practices.

• Managing risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies whilst ensuring adherence to agreed change control processes.

• Delivering regular updates to senior leadership stakeholders on programme workstream statuses and achievement of milestones against targets.
