They needed to improve the overall business operations by automating user approvals and loan approvals.My responsibilities include improving business operation and setting technical direction by removing technical debt and improving code quality.To minimize time spent on internal tooling I implemented a approval dashboard using Retool connecting to our Postgres database.

Their development were stopped by immense technical debt and infrastructure costs.I helped them migrate the backend from Firebase to a scalable architecture on GCP that I designed. The new backend was deployed as Cloud Run containers with the API using Hasura in combination with Cloud SQL Postgres to produce a uniform Graphql API.We successfully minimized operation costs and increased developer productivity.
